    I enjoyed the book greatly. Two suggestions for the revised printing:
    1. Include a good map of the course of the Poesten Kill.
    2. Explain more of the when/why/how of the change of the Poesten Kill's final descent into the Hudson from its natural course to the artificial canal.

    Yeah - should have had a good overall map!

    The development of the artificial canal was a little deeper then I could go given the publishers limitations on the length and the schedule I was under. It's a great topic that I included in hopes that others would pick up the mantle and carry on the research.

    It would make a great paper for a grad student.
